It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

He’ll come here because I have the most sincere pumpkin patch and he respects sincerity.” – Linus

Autumn is trying daily to creep into Texas, to overtake the heat of the late Indian summer and bring the holidays to our door.  All Hallow’s Eve is a week away and there was no more important task at hand than to let Emory pick out his first pumpkin!  So, off to a pumpkin patch in the city to smell and see all the colors and of course, get a few little pumpkins to carve up this week.  He loved the attention – people eat him up and he loves all the ooohing and awwwwing.  A trip to the pet store meant a bag of all natural treats and then “Emors” saw the ducks for the first time.  All in all, a perfect day.  Especially when he then crashed out in a perfect pile under the coffee table.  The Great Pumpkin is coming, and I hope he shows up just in time for us to catch a glimpse.
