I will be the gladdest thing under the sun! I will touch a hundred flowers and not pick one. -Edna St. Vincent Millay

It’s Easter weekend, a time of remembrance and celebration of life and the hopes we all have.  Today we decided to go about together, and we finally did something we have be saying we’d do for a long time…ride the Trinity Park/Forest Park train!  The train basically winds through the area near we live and shows off the best of the Trinity River in a very retro way.  We started with a soft serve ice cream cone and Bo just wanted a conductor’s hat.  A gentle ride around the rails, which took nearly an hour and we were relaxed beyond belief. It felt very All American, so much so that we had go home and cook perfect Angus beef franks.  Who doesn’t love hot dogs, chips and vintage Double Cola for dinner?  Eh, folks?  The beauty truly is in the simple things. Though it was very windy, it did not rain! The best impromptu dances are in the wind.

We love you Fort Worth!
