Today was THE-La-z-i-est day eveeeeer. And I think we really needed it. We have been super busy as of late, and we rarely take a day to just BE. In the pursuit of discovering our town, to working on business plans, to blogging and researching online, to day jobs and endless errands there isn’t very many hours for laziness. So today was all about rectifying that situation. A late night meant a glorious morning of sleep which little Emory was generous not to disrupt too much. Then a little TV with fruit in bed, checking the email and a wonderfully slow process of getting dressed for the day. It is full on summer here, with yesterday’s temps reaching 105 degrees, so a little bit of sixties in NYC was the inspiration here…pale pink high-waisted shorts, a striped top, vintage ankle boots and a favorite bag to go with the hair being up and sunglasses that I haven’t taken off since I bought them at Buffalo Exchange. Comfortable mostly vintage and entirely affordable. Now on to homemade pizza, pepperoni for me and BBQ chicken for the Mister, a Saturday in ..is just what we need!
