Now in all honesty, this outfit was worn over this weekend! I was just too lazy to upload photos at the time? It was a lazy kind of vibe around our house. This weekend turned out to be the weekend of Fort Worth thrift store hunting. I think we went to every thrift store in this city or at least after 5 hours it felt that way. It turns out that we have quite a few. Now we didn’t do too well in our efforts at any of them. But I did find this vintage bedroom jacket-esque blouse at our very own Berry Good Buys. This is a thrift store we are proud and more than glad to support, as they are run by Safe Haven of Tarrant County.
Safe Haven is a transitional shelter for women and children who have made the decision to leave situations of domestic abuse. This is something is extremely personal for me, as me a very young girl and my courageous mother came through the Tarrant County network of transitional facilities for such situations and made a better life for ourselves. Seeing the innovative ways Safe Haven is using Berry Good Buys and other avenues to raise their budget to help others, is simply amazing and worth all of our support. So a great top for an even greater cause. Check out Berry Good Buys on the Near Southside!
